Prairie Isle Golf Club USA
Prairie Isle Golf Club, a "Smoke-Free" facility, built through and around an abandoned gravel pit in 1993, wastes none of the dramatic land shapes produced by the mining operation that predated it.
At the same time, however, the course wanders over 135 acres that also include mature woodlands, wetlands and meadows. There is a little bit of everything here, and then some.
Flint Hills National Golf Club USA
Flint Hills National Golf Club, in Andover, Kansas, is home to one of the best golf courses in the country. The club owner, Tom Devlin, is the founder of the company Rent-A-Center. Devlin hired Tom Fazio to be the mastermind behind his newly beloved masterpiece. The course was built on a 640 acre lot, and opened in 1997. The course measures 6,394 yards from the National tees, with a par of 71.
